Start by telling us more about you or your child. This allows us to determine if you or your child would benefit from a speech-language or occupational therapy evaluation.
We will then complete a comprehensive evaluation that involves standardized testing, questionnaire, observation and a thorough review of your case history.
Once the assessment is complete, we will go over findings and recommendations and answer any questions you may have.
Treatment is designed to meet your unique speech, language, and/or motor skill needs. Services can be provided in home, private school setting, daycare, or any other mutually convenient location.
We believe that constant communication regarding your unique needs is important throughout the therapeutic process. We are always available after appointments, via email or phone to discuss any questions you may have.
We are interested and available to communicate with any other medical or educational professionals involved in you or your child’s case.
Kyra Quinones M.S. CCC-SLP founded Sound It Out Speech Therapy with the idea that therapy should be tailored and personalized to meet the specific needs of the child. She practices this by using evidenced-based experience and creativity, as well as a collaborative approach to give families the tools and information they need so learning continues beyond the therapy session. Kyra’s scope of practice includes assessing and providing therapy to toddlers, children, and young adults with a variety of speech and language disorders. Prior to starting her own practice, Kyra worked for Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District.
