Consultation
During the consultation we have the opportunity to learn more about you and answer any questions you may have. We ask that all prospective clients have a current hearing screening prior to beginning the assessment process.
Evaluations
A typical evaluation consists of history review, informal observations, questionnaires, and formal standardized testing. Following the evaluation, we review our findings, along with a plan of care for future visits if additional treatment is recommended. We will present and discuss the results of the evaluation with you during your first treatment visit and answer any questions you may have.

Treatment
Private sessions are one on one for 45 minutes. Most therapy recommendations are once to twice per week depending on the individual’s unique needs. At the conclusion of each session, your child’s therapist will share with you what was focused on and will provide you with suggestions and materials for at home practice. We welcome family members to be a part of the therapeutic process if you so desire.
Bilingual Therapy
Our therapists provide your child with the tools needed to develop speech-language and/or daily living skills needed to successfully thrive as individuals. Please contact us for more information regarding bilingual therapy options.

Educational Services
Upon request we can provide IEE’s (independent education evaluations) to students in need of additional assessments. An Independent Educational Evaluation is an evaluation by a qualified speech-language pathologist who is not employed by your school district. You can request this evaluation if you would like an in-depth description of your child’s strengths and weaknesses in the area of communication. The IEE involves: school records review, classroom observation, interview with parents and classroom teacher, formal and informal evaluation.
Complimentary phone consultations are designed to determine if your child would benefit from a complete speech-language evaluation. We ask that all prospective clients have a current hearing screening prior to beginning the assessment process.
A typical speech and language evaluation consists of history review, informal observations, questionnaires, and formal standardized testing. Once the assessment is complete, a parent conference will be scheduled to explain testing results and recommendations.
Once the assessment is complete we will go over findings and recommendations and answer any questions you may have.
Treatment is designed to meet your child's unique needs. Specific skills will be identified for therapy based on testing the child's readiness and the family's goals. Services can be provided in-home, preschool, daycare, or at a convenient location.
We believe that constant communication regarding your unique needs is important throughout the therapeutic process. We are always available after appointments, via email or phone to discuss any questions you may have.
We are interested and available to communicate with any other medical or educational professionals involved in you or your child’s case.
