Rachel received her Master of Science in Speech Pathology from California State University San Marcos. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed as a speech-language pathologist in California and Utah.
Rachel has experience in evaluating and treating a vast variety of pediatric delays and disorders including expressive and receptive language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and social communication (pragmatic) disorders. She enjoys individualizing treatment for each client based on their specific needs and always searches for ways to include their families and interests in order to improve motivation and participation during treatment sessions and to improve the carryover of newly learned skills across environments.
When not working, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, relaxing on the Colorado river, or racing her UTV with her husband in off-road series across the western states.
