Cindy Esquivias graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles with a Master of Science in Education, and CSU East Bay with a Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology. She has a strong passion for working with pediatric populations with speech, language, feeding, and swallowing disorders. Her areas of interest include early intervention, family-centered care, pediatric dysphagia, myofunctional disorders, bilingualism, and literacy. She has experience working in private practice settings, home-based early intervention, as well as medical settings–both outpatient and inpatient subacute. Additionally, Cindy has served as a lecturer for CSU East Bay and will soon join San Jose State University as a lecturer in their Communicative Disorders and Sciences department. Cindy likes to curl up next to her dog and read a good book while drinking coffee. She also enjoys camping and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in her free time.
