Avril Aplasca, M.S., CCC-SLP

Avril is a licensed speech language pathologist in the state of California. She received her BA in English from UCLA, second BS in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education from Utah State, and MS in Communication Sciences & Disorders from University of Redlands. She currently works in the public school setting.

Before pursuing her master’s, Avril worked as an ABA therapist, substitute teacher, and English language assistant in Madrid, Spain. Avril has had experience treating and assessing adults and children in the areas of cognitive rehabilitation, speech sound disorders, language delay and impairment, fluency, pragmatics, voice, and bilingual language development. She holds a specialty certificate in bilingual speech pathology (spanish language focus) from University of Redlands.

Outside of work, Avril enjoys staying active through dancing and boxing, baking chocolate chip cookies, and traveling to cities on her bucket list.
