Anjani Patel, M.S. CCC-SLP, holds an American Speech-Language- Hearing Association (ASHA) certification of competence, a speech-language pathology California state license, and a speech-language pathologist teaching credential. She received a B.A in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Fullerton and a M.S in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi. Currently, she provides speech and language services within the public school-based realm working with school-age children and young adults with various diagnoses including speech and language impairment, specific learning disability, intellectual disability, Autism spectrum disorder, and hearing impairment. Through her three years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, she has developed knowledge of, and ability to conduct assessments and implement comprehensive treatment interventions with children and young adults with various speech and language impairments including: expressive and receptive language disorders, pragmatic disorders, articulation disorders, phonological disorders, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and childhood apraxia of speech.
Anjani believes effective communication is an essential ability for all human beings; professionals have unique abilities that can be used to positively service humanity, and she believes that she is able to best continue to develop and harness hers through working as a Speech Language Pathologist.
