Lauren received her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College and her M.S. in Speech Language Pathology from Worcester State College. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in California and Massachusetts.
In addition to providing in-home speech therapy services, she currently works as an itinerant speech-language pathologist in the public schools. She has assessed and treated children, ages 2 through 22, with language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders, Autism and various other diagnoses. She has attended trainings in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT). She also holds AAC assessment certificates from the Diagnostic Center of Southern California and the Antelope Valley SELPA.
Outside of work, you will find her cheering on Boston sports teams with her husband, friends and family, working out, planning trips, cooking and finding new shows to watch.
