Kristen is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of California and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She received her BA in Psychology from Georgia State University and M.Ed in Communication Sciences and Disorders from University of West Georgia.
Kristen has extensive experience in the treatment of communication disorders related to autism in children and adults. Additionally, she has received special training in early intervention, apraxia of speech, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She has experience treating language disorders, cognitive communication disorders, and speech-sound disorders in children and adults and has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, schools, telehealth, and home-based services.
When not working, Kristen enjoys spending time outdoors with her one-year-old son and husband, biking at the beach, and traveling.
