Pamela Won

Pamela Won M.S., CCC-SLP has over seven years of clinical experience as a licensed and board-certified speech and language pathologist. She is a bilingual speech therapist with fluency in Korean. She worked in a variety of medical settings (acute rehab, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities, private practice) with the adult and geriatric populations while specializing in dysphagia for evaluating and treating clients with swallowing disorders. She provides therapy in both English and Korean, demonstrating cultural competence in her practice. As a medical speech-language pathologist, her scientific knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the swallowing function, her ability to connect with her clients helped them maintain safety and improve quality of life. It wasn’t until the fall of 2017 when she decided to transition to the public school setting to work full time with the school aged population while also working in the acute care setting per diem. Collaborating with teachers, families, caregivers for the students' individual needs while working in a public school is what she looks forward to as a clinician. For Pamela, the best part of being a speech-language pathologist is connecting and establishing relationships with her clients and families.

When she is not working with clients, she enjoys reading, watching movies, streaming shows on Netflix, and traveling.
