Speech-Language Pathologist
"I pursued speech-language pathology because I love the science of language and the relationships you build with the people you help."
Andrea earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Ithaca College and her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from University of Redlands. She is licensed by the State of California and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a California Clinical Rehabilitation Certificate. Although Andrea began her career working with adults in an acute care hospital, she shifted her focus early on to children.
Andrea has over 23 years experience providing assessment and therapy services to pediatric populations in a variety of settings including outpatient care, private clinics, and public schools (preschool through adult transition). Special interests include pragmatic/social communication, articulation/phonological disorders, receptive/expressive language delays and fluency disorders. She especially enjoys working closely with families to create strategies that encourage speech and language development in the context of meaningful interactions and daily routines. Andrea is passionate about her work and values the relationships she makes with her clients.
Andrea resides in Orange County with her husband and three children. In her free time, she is determined to take her kids to see the world. When Andrea’s not traveling with her family, she’s likely researching their next epic adventure.
