Shawn received her B.A. in Psychology from Syracuse University, and her M.S. in Communication Disorders and Sciences from California State University, Northridge. She is licensed by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board (SLPAB), and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
In addition to providing in-home speech therapy services, she currently works as an itinerant speech-language pathologist in the public school setting. She has experience assessing and treating children (ages 3-16) with Articulation Disorders, Phonological Disorders, Receptive/Expressive Language Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Autism spectrum disorder, and Down syndrome. In her free time, Shawn enjoys spending time with her husband and friends, reading, discovering new favorite restaurants, and seeing as many musicals as possible!
