Jhana received her B.A. and M.A. in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh. She is licensed by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board (SLPAB), and is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
In addition to providing in-home speech therapy services, she currently works as a speech-language pathologist in the public school setting. She has experience assessing and treating children and adults (ages 3+) with Articulation Disorders, Phonological Disorders, Receptive/Expressive Language Disorders, Fluency Disorders, and Autism spectrum disorder. She also has experience with the adult population, conducting therapy in the areas of aphasia, swallowing disorders, and cognitive linguistic skills. Jhana is passionate about her work and prioritizes continuing education in order to provide the most effective evidenced-based therapy practices. She additionally values collaboration with caregivers and other service providers to promote progress.
In her free time, Jhana enjoys exploring new cities, listening to music, and hiking with her husband.
