Celeste Orozco Wallace, M.S., CCC-SLP, received her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a Certificate in Concussion Management from The University of Texas at El Paso. She has obtained her Certificate of clinical competence through the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
Celeste has gained pediatric experience in outpatient clinics, schools, hospitals as an intern in the craniofacial and cleft care team at El Paso Children’s Hospital, and in clinical research working with athletes in concussion management and return to school/play protocol. Celeste has additional training in concussion management with veterans, which she received through her experience interning at the El Paso Veterans Affairs where she gained knowledge in cognitive-linguistic assessment and treatment of individuals with concomitant diagnosis of mTBI and PTSD.
She has special interests in the areas of early childhood intervention, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, language disorders, cognition, and is working on her certification to become a certified brain injury specialist.
In her free time, you can find Celeste spending time with her dogs, hiking, dancing, and enjoying the beach.
