Jaclyn is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from California State University, Northridge andher Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Barnard College, Columbia University. She has worked as a Speech Language Pathologist in a private practice and has experience with early intervention and preschool populations, children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, expressive and receptive language disorders, as well as articulation/phonology, fluency, and suspected CAS. Her techniques are play-based and incorporate both modeling and parent coaching. She enjoys incorporating books, crafts, and pretend play into therapy.
Jaclyn has completed the Assistive Technology Applications Certificate Program and has a special interest in working with children who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
In her free time, Jaclyn enjoys camping, playing sports, wood-working, traveling, and taking her dog on walks at the beach.
